Why I Started Property Powwow
People have been asking me why I started Property Powwow, and honestly the answer comes from my own journey in property.
Over the past few years I’ve spent a lot of time learning about property — renovating, analysing deals, attending networking events and meeting lots of interesting people along the way.
But something I noticed quite often at networking events was that people would mainly talk to the small group they were already sitting with. Even though there might be dozens of really interesting people in the same room, those conversations didn’t always cross over.
And I kept thinking to myself…
Why isn’t there a space where people can just come together and talk about property?
Not presentations.
Not selling courses.

Just real conversations between people who are curious about property — whether they’re experienced investors or just starting out.
At the same time, life has changed quite a lot for me personally. A few years ago I was diagnosed with MS, which forced me to slow down and rethink a lot of things.
But one thing I’ve realised since being part of the property community is just how supportive people are of each other. In many industries people can be very competitive, but property doesn’t really feel like that.
People genuinely share knowledge.
They support each other.
They want to help each other move forward.
And I think that’s quite special.
So Property Powwow is really about bringing people together.
Sharing knowledge.
Learning from each other.
Building connections.
And hopefully creating a community here in Kent where people leave thinking:
"I’m really glad I came tonight."
The first Property Powwow will be launching soon in Rainham, Kent, and I honestly can’t wait to see where it goes.
